Former youths leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Mr. Ebenezer Brown Isobonye has lauded Governor Siminialayi Fubara’s proposed Port Harcourt Ring Road project as a visionary endeavor and a legacy initiative that will shape the future of the city.

The youths leader who stated this in an interview with National Network in Port Harcourt on Monday, praised the long-term impact that the project is expected to have.

He said the project would be a marvel as it would encircle the city, connecting major highways and alleviating traffic congestion.

“The ambitious proposal is a significant step towards improving transportation infrastructure, fostering economic growth, and enhancing the overall well-being of Port Harcourt residents”, he said.

Isobonye, also a former National President of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Omoku Alumni Association further commended Governor Fubara for his foresight in envisioning such a transformative project.

He expressed belief that the PH Ring Road project would become an enduring symbol of progress and development, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.

The youthful politician and ex-Captain of All Stars Darl United FC of Port Harcourt, emphasized that the project aligned perfectly with the aspirations of Rivers people and their desire for enhanced connectivity and economic opportunities.

Governor Siminalayi Fubara had last week signed the supplementary budget of N200 billion recently passed by the Rivers State House of Assembly.

To make good his promise, the governor on Wednesday signed the contract papers of the 50.15 kilometers Ring Road, stressing that his administration would continue to do the right thing within the New Rivers Vision.
