The Rivers International Film Festival (RIFF) is poised to become Nigeria’s largest film festival, with its second edition scheduled for October 24-27, 2024.
Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Rivers State, Chief (Dr) Kenneth Chigozie Osunwa who disclosed this while speaking to journalists on Thursday in Port Harcourt, said RIFF 2024 has secured endorsements from top industry professionals, including Bobby Ogoloma, Walter Anga, Dr. Sam Dede, and Lady Amb Endy Ojo-Abas.
“We’re expecting guests from over 127 countries, and we’ve received assurances of top-notch safety and protection measures,” Chief Osunwa revealed.
Companies like Holocene Innovations Ltd, IB-Teknicals Ltd, and Glitz Photographers Ltd will exhibit equipment and provide training on movie-making.
With veteran actors, film producers, and industry experts supporting the festival, RIFF 2024 promises to boost the film industry and provide opportunities for artists to shine.
Chief Osunwa who is the Director of RIFF 2034, expressed gratitude to the press, saying, “I thank the press in the state for always honoring and supporting us; we shall all grow together.”
RIFF 2024 is set to solidify its position as Nigeria’s premier film festival, offering a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work and network with industry professionals.
