In a grand finale to his campaign, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Chairmanship candidate for Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), Henry Chimuenya Umejuru, brought the bustling Omoku-Egbema expressway to a standstill on Wednesday.

His colorful convoy, comprising thousands of supporters – women, youths, and children alike – sang and danced their way through the streets, captivating the attention of commuters and residents.

The massive turnout forced vehicles to seek alternative routes, while tricycles and motorcycles skillfully navigated through the crowds.

This spectacle marked the culmination of Umejuru’s campaigns ahead of Saturday’s local government elections.

In a symbolic display of support, Oba of Ogbaland, His Eminence, Oba (Barr) Nwachukwu Nnam Obi and monarchs from the area, including the Ochioha of Ogbogu, bestowed their royal blessings upon Umejuru.

The traditional rulers prayed for his success and gave their endorsement, further bolstering his chances in the polls.

Umejuru’s campaign has generated significant interest, with many regarding him as a top contender in the election.

His message of progress and development has resonated with the LGA, particularly among women and youths.

As the people of ONELGA prepare to head to the polls, Umejuru’s campaign has concluded on a high note, setting the stage for a thrilling election weekend.
