With less than a week to the local government elections in Rivers State, the Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) Patriotic Forum, a grassroots organization, has thrown its weight behind Henry Chmuenya Umejuru, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The group cited Umejuru’s vision for sustainable development, transparency, and accountability as key reasons for their endorsement.
According to the Forum’s spokesperson, Dave Oburu, “Chimuenya Umejuru embodies the transformative leadership ONELGA needs to thrive. His commitment to improving infrastructure, economic empowerment, and security aligns with our community’s aspirations.”
The grouplisted key areas of focus for Umejuru’s administration to include:
*Improved Infrastructure_: Enhanced roads, healthcare facilities, and education infrastructure to boost the quality of life for ONELGA residents.
*Economic Empowerment: Initiatives to support local businesses, create job opportunities, and stimulate economic growth.
*Security and Safety_: Collaborative efforts with security agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
The ONELGA Patriotic Forum urged residents to make an informed decision on October 5, choosing a leader who prioritizes their welfare and development. With Umejuru at the helm, ONELGA can expect a brighter future.
