In a gesture of gratitude and recognition of his humanitarian gestures, the leadership of Usomini Ward 6 of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) paid a heartfelt courtesy visit to Mr. Henry Chimuenya Umejuru, Director of HH Foundation, at his office in Omoku, headquarters of Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), last Sunday.

The delegation which was led by the Ward Chairman, Chief Caleb Ezieukwu expressed deep appreciation for Umejuru’s unwavering commitment to philanthropy, particularly his impactful contributions to the local community.

Over the years, Umejuru’s HH Foundation has been a beacon of hope for many in ONELGA and beyond, supporting various initiatives from educational scholarships, sporting activities to healthcare services, and community development projects.

During the visit, Chief Ezeukwu praised Umejuru for his exceptional generosity and dedication, noting that his efforts have significantly improved the lives of many residents.

According to party’s ward chairman:  “Mr. Umejuru has demonstrated a remarkable level of commitment to the welfare of our people.  His philanthropic efforts have not only enhanced the quality of life in our community but have also set a standard for others to follow.”

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, the PDP leaders conferred upon Umejuru the honorary title of Patron of PDP in ONELGA Ward 6. This title, they said, symbolizes the party’s appreciation for his ongoing support and reflects the deep bond between his philanthropic efforts and the party’s values of service and community upliftment.

Visibly moved by the honor, Mr. Henry Chimuenya Umejuru who is the CEO of HH Hotels and Apartments, Omoku expressed his gratitude to the party leaders and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing his work in the community.

“It is a profound honour to receive this recognition from the PDP,” he said, adding. “I am committed to working together with the party and all stakeholders to further the development of our community and to address the needs of our people.”

The visit concluded with a pledge from both sides to enhance collaboration for future initiatives aimed at bettering the lives of ONELGA people, ensuring that the spirit of community service remains at the forefront of their collective efforts.
