United States President, Joe Biden has revealed his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.

Biden who announced this on Sunday, said the decision to not seek re-election was premised on his commitment to focus on his remaining term, demonstrating a deep sense of responsibility and dedication.

Reflecting on his tenure, Biden highlighted notable achievements including economic growth, historic investments, and key legislative successes such as climate and gun safety laws.

The 78 year old US President expressed profound gratitude to Vice President Kamala Harris and the American people, acknowledging their crucial role in these accomplishments.

Biden’s message also emphasized the importance of American unity and collective capability, reassuring the nation of its strength to face challenges together.

“I believe today what I always have: that there is nothing America can’t do – when we do it together. We just have to remember we are the United States of America.”
