Lucky Aiyedatiwa has assumed the gubernatorial position in Ondo State after the passing of former Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The swearing-in ceremony occurred at the Government House in Alagbaka, Akure, on Wednesday.
Akeredolu, who succumbed to prostate cancer at the age of 67 while in Germany, had undergone medical treatments abroad, returning to Nigeria on September 7 to inform the state House of Assembly after two medical leaves on April 3 and July 10, 2023.
