As the emergence of His Grace, Most Rev Dappa Opubo Abbey as new Prelate of Christ Army Church Nigeria (CACN) spark fresh enthusiasm across the length and breadth of the Church, the Chief Conference Adviser of the Rivers Diocese of the CACN, Elder Gogo Abietogha Brown, has described the development as joyful.
Speaking on the sidelines after the colourful Prelate investiture at the end of a four-day Synod of the CACN at St. Stephens Pro Cathedral, Ogoloma in Okrika Local Government Area on Sunday, Elder Brown expressed confidence that the Prelate’s extensive experience and dedication to the church’s mission will allow him to excel in his new role.
“I am thrilled to welcome His Eminence, Most Rev Dappa Abbey as our new Prelate.
“His commitment to our congregation’s values and his proven track record make him a fitting choice for this important position”, Brown said.
Recall that Prelate Abbey’s investiture came after an exhaustive election process that considered both his spiritual leadership qualities and his strategic vision for the church’s future.
