The lawmaker representing Ayamelum Constituency in the Anambra state House of Assembly, Udemezue Bernard Abuchi, was denied entry into the Assembly complex for allegedly using a tricycle popularly called Keke.
The viral video online captured Abuchi expressing displeasure at the decision not to allow him to enter the Assembly complex.
While shouting at the top of his voice that he has not been given a car, some women in the background said the senators would soon be given cars soon, adding that tricycles are not allowed into the complex.
The video sparked mixed reactions from some social media users. 9jasingles_patner wrote: “That is how it is done, one has to use any means to go work first before they give him car”
ada_thefirst wrote: “And see them shouting “very soon”. As in it has become a norm now. Use our taxes to buy them cars because we don’t like to see them in keke.”
