Super Eagles Legend Austin Okocha has ended speculations regarding his interest in becoming a coach.
When asked if he would be interested in coaching, in an interview session on Arise TV on Saturday, the former Bolton Wanderers Captain had this to say:

“I don’t think I would be a good coach because I don’t deal with defeat very well, that’s why I decided to stay out of coaching after my playing career. I want to enjoy my old age and not put a lot of pressure on myself by venturing into coaching”. Jay Jay Okocha said.

Okocha had earlier made his stance concerning his career known in another interview in 2022.
“For now I’ll say no, because it’s a tough job and it’s not for everybody. I see myself more as an administrator. If I ever want to go back to the football business, I think that’s it.

What I would live to do is to be in the office, try to put a good structure in place to enable those coaches function well. So I don’t think I’ll make a good coach” The former Super Eagles captain had earlier stated.
