As Nigerians eagerly await the Afcon semifinals clash between the Super Eagles and their Bafana Bafana counterpart on Wednesday, business tycoon and sports enthusiast, Mr. Muenya Umejuru, says the Super Eagles have a good chance of lifting the trophy if they can defeat their South African rival.
Speaking with sports journalists in Port Harcourt on Monday, Umejuru charged the Jose Peseiro tutored boys to muster all efforts and do the nation proud, adding that history beckons on them.
“If we beat South Africa, I believe we can win the tournament. I have faith in the entire squad. I believe in what my ONELGA born Stanley Nwabali can do in the goalpost. I know he can stop all their shots”, Umejuru enthused.
The renowned philanthropist and CEO of H. H. Luxury Hotels and Apartments, Omoku expressed delight that the Super Eagles has continued to improve in every match.
“They have shown great technical and tactical abilities against their previous opponents. They approach every game with determination and a winning mindset.
“I believe this semi-final match will not be an exception, and they will continue to showcase their skills and determination”, he said.
