With Saturday Presidential and Assembly elections hours away, the Amuzi Community in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State have pledged their unalloyed support for their son and member representing Nwangele Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amaraci Chyna Iwuanyanwu who is seeking re-election to the hallowed Chambers.

Speaking at a rally which held at the Amuzi Hall on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, convener of the rally, Mr. Harry Alimnu urged the people to ensure to vote massively for their son who is also the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly.

Mr. Alimnu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nwangele LGA, charged the people show gratitude to God who gave Dim-Na-Nume Community it’s first ever House of Assembly member.

“Our God did not just bless Dim-Na-Nume Isu to produce a House of Assembly member, Amarachi at the same time occupied the very exotic and enviable position of Deputy Speaker”, Alimnu told the excited men, women and youths of Amuzi and neighboring communities.

Harry Alimnu also enjoined the people to vote massively for Senator Osita Izunaso in Saturday Nationall Assembly election for the office of Senator representing Orlu zone.

Contributing, the National Chairman of Amuzi Progressives Union (APU), Mr. Obinna Otuonye implored the youths to support Rt. Hon Amarachi Iwuanyanwu who is one of their own, describing the lawmaker as a dependable youth and Ally.

Otuonye said: “You should all calm down and support our brother. Whatever you could not get in his first tenure will surely be achieved during and within the next four years”.

Other notable Amuzi people also lent their voices at the epic event, pledging support for the Deputy Speaker and Senator Izunaso.

The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of two solar lights by Amuzi youths.

The Amuzi Youths Chairman, Mr. Ugochukwu Otuonye said the solar lights would be mounted besidesi the transformer for security purposes.
