…Says It’s Another Milestone for Rivers
Port Harcourt based legal practitioner and ardent supporter of the Tinubu administration, Barrister Goma Kindness Ohochukwu, has lauded the recent appointments of Chief Tony Okocha and Barrister Boma Iyaye into key positions within the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), describing it as a significant milestone for Rivers State.
In an interview with journalists in Port Harcourt, Thursday, Ohochukwu who coordinated the Rivers State chapter of Female Lawyers In Politics In Support Of Tinubu/Shettima during the 2023 Presidential election, as well as member of Contact and Mobilization, Presidential
Campaign Council PCC South-South Directorate, Secretary, Welfare / Entertainment Committee during the 2023 Presidential rally in Rivers
state, expressed satisfaction with the choice of Chief Okocha as
Rivers State representative in NDDC and Hon. Boma Iyaye as Director of Finance and Administration in the Commission.
She emphasized that both individuals will bring their wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles, which she believes, will greatly benefit the development and progress of the
Commission.
Barr Ohochukwu, also the National President, Political Falcons of Nigeria, further noted that the appointments not only reflect the commitment of the NDDC to selecting capable and dedicated individuals, but also highlight the potential for positive transformation in the region.
She commended the President Bola Tinubu for recognizing the talent within Rivers State and giving them the opportunity to contribute to the betterment of the state.

Alliance RAPA reiterated her support for the NDDC’s decisions and expressed optimism that under the representation of Hon. Okocha, Rivers State will witness remarkable progress and development through the NDDC.
“On the part of both Hon. Boma Iyaye and Chief Tony Okocha,, I have no doubt that they will make full proof that they are a good pick for the job, and truly a square peg in a square hole”, declared Barr. Ohochukwu who is also the Legal Adviser, Greater Nigeria Assembly Forum (GNAF) and Intellectual Elite Youth Association of Nigeria (IEYAN).
