The Deputy Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amarachi Chyna-Iwuanyanwu, KSC has commended Imo women across the state for their successful August meeting Grand finale yesterday.
Rt. Hon Iwuanyanwu through a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rt.Cmrd. Chimezie Odemenam, said the epoch making event, which held at Rear Admiral Ndubisi Kanu Square in Owerri had the wife of the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu in attendance as Special Guest of Honour as well as the First Lady of Imo state, Her Excellency, Chief Barr. Chioma Uzodimma, who played host to the August visitors.
The Deputy Speaker lauded the women across the 27 LGAs and other women support groups for mobilizing themselves in such a massive proportion, which indicates their solidarity and unity of purpose.
He urged them to remain united and steadfast as they continued to contribute their overwhelming quota towards complementing the relentless efforts of Governor Hope Uzodimma in building a greater Imo state of the people’s collective dream.
