A group of legal practitioners under the aegis of Female Lawyers In Politics In Support of Tinubu/Shettima (FLIP) has expressed satisfaction with the nomination of former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for Ministerial position.

Coordinator of the group in Rivers State, Barrister (Mrs.) Goma K. Ohochukwu told journalists in Port Harcourt on Monday, that FLIP was elated at the development as Wike’s experience and expertise will contribute significantly to the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Barrister Ohochukwu who was a member of Contact and Mobilisation in the APC Presidential Campaign Council, expressed belief that Governor Wike’s selection is a strategic move to tap into his proven track record of efficient leadership and accomplishments.

“Gov Wike’s nomination is a testament to his commitment to the welfare of citizens and his unwavering dedication to upholding the principles of justice,” Ohochukwu said, adding,
“We anticipate that his presence in the cabinet would foster a deeper sense of confidence and credibility in the administration”.

A renowned human rights activist who was also Secretary, Welfare/Entertainment Committee at the Tinubu Presidential Rally in Port Harcourt as well as Treasurer of the Tinubu Think Tank group, Rivers State chapter, Barrister Ohochukwu poured encomiums on President Tinubu for nominating Wike as a prospective Minister in his government.

The River FLIP Coordinator described the action as a rare display of camaraderie and bipartisanship.

“This gesture from President Tinubu reflects the spirit of collaboration and cooperation in the realm of politics”, she said.

The lawyer further hailed Tinubu’s action as a testament to the maturing political landscape, where leaders are increasingly putting the nation’s interests first and working together for the greater good.
